2024 Richland County Livestock Committee Scholarship

Richland County Livestock Committee Scholarship applications now being accepted for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have completed and exhibited a market livestock project at the Richland County Fair. Applicants must be a High School Senior or College Freshman. Applicants must be accepted as a full time student at a college, university, or trade school program for the upcoming academic semester. Applications are due March 1.

Richland County Junior Fair Livestock Committee

The primary purpose of the Richland County Junior Fair Livestock Committee, shall be in coordination with the efforts of the Ohio State University Extension, Junior Fair Board, Richland County Agriculture Departments, and the Richland County Agriculture Society as these efforts relate to the planning and execution of the livestock programs of the Richland County Junior Fair.

The Livestock Committee is a sub-committee of the Richland County Agriculture Society and operates in an advisory capacity only. It shall be the objective of The Livestock Committee to help provide a wholesome and enjoyable educational experience for the youth who participate in the Richland County Junior Fair Livestock Programs and to provide support and guidance to the Richland County Junior Fair Board.

The scope of the Livestock Committee only applies to the following species: Cattle, Goats, Hogs, Lambs, Poultry, and Rabbits.
